Rental Terms & Conditions
Rental information for OK RV Rental. Review the complete agreement and the conditions shown for your selected trailer before confirming your booking.
Before you reserve
Review the trailer details, full price breakdown and rental agreement before confirming. The conditions shown for your selected trailer and booking service apply to your reservation. Keep your confirmation and rental documents together.
Amounts on this page are in Canadian dollars. Selected extras, applicable taxes and other charges are shown during booking. Do not assume that every trailer has the same deposit, permissions or delivery arrangements.
Reservations and payments
Direct Wheelbase bookings require 30% of the rental amount, with a minimum reservation payment of $350 for Recreational Rentals or $300 for OK RV Rentals. The balance is due 30 days before departure. The booking page confirms the applicable payment schedule.
Damage deposits
The damage deposit is scheduled one day before pickup. Most trailers show a $1,000 deposit; different amounts apply to some units. Check your selected trailer. Approved awning use can require an additional deposit, separate from the rental fee.
Pickup, return and delivery
Pickup is generally arranged from 2 pm at 743 Finns Rd, Kelowna. Follow the exact time in your reservation. Return windows vary; do not assume that 11 am is your agreed handover time. Sunday/holiday, early or late arrangements require approval and may have additional charges.
Delivery is supplied by a separate provider. The trailer must reach the yard before 11 am, so campsite collection is earlier according to distance. Confirm the delivery/pickup quote, access and timings before booking.
Ask about delivery →Towing and permitted roads
Use an appropriately rated tow vehicle, correct hitch, 7-pin wiring and trailer-brake controller. Insurance is required. Confirm the driver and cover required for your trailer before departure. The stated maximum towing speed is 90 km/h.
No off-road, mountain/bush or gravel-road travel is permitted, apart from access within approved campsites. Confirm the destination. USA travel requires a trailer with international travel permitted and the required approval and insurance.
Guests, smoking and pets
Stay within the approved occupancy for your selected trailer. Smoking is prohibited. Pets are allowed only in approved units and by arrangement; the pet add-on is $15 per day. Follow the floor/crate restrictions and keep pets off beds, sofas and dinette fabrics. Additional cleaning or damage charges may apply. Cats are not permitted under the published rental instructions.
Awning and equipment
Awning use requires permission, the $35 use add-on and the additional deposit for your reservation. Retract the awning in wind or heavy rain, at night and whenever you leave the trailer. Remove debris before closing. Unauthorised use may forfeit the deposit.
Follow the handover instructions for your unit. Some appliances require shore power or a suitable generator. A solar panel or battery does not run the air conditioner. Contact us before repairs or adjustments if equipment is not working correctly.
Ask about your trailer’s equipment →Cleaning and return condition
Return the trailer and supplied items clean, including the fridge, toilet and exterior where required for self-tow. The preparation/check-through charge does not cover a dirty return. Extra cleaning, tank emptying, flushing, propane replacement, late return and damage charges may apply as shown for your booking.
Put only approved single-ply toilet paper and normal toilet waste in the toilet. Do not put wipes, paper towels, food or other objects into toilets or sinks. Follow the agreed tank-emptying and propane arrangements.
What to bring and optional extras
Bring your own bedding, towels, soap and personal toiletries. Kitchen and connection equipment varies by trailer. Optional chairs, tables, BBQs, generators, solar panels and other extras are charged separately when selected.
